Vienna
282 places to stay. A night costs from about 62 €.
On Michaelerplatz stands the Looshaus, a key work of Viennese Modernism, and on Herrengasse the Café Central. The Musikverein opened in 1870; every year the Vienna Philharmonic plays its New Year's Concert here. The Church am Steinhof was built from 1904 to 1907 to designs by Otto Wagner.
The Karl-Marx-Hof in Döbling stands for the municipal housing of the interwar years. The Hermesvilla lies in the Lainzer Tiergarten, a former hunting ground. In the Vienna Woods southwest of the city, the Cistercian abbey of Heiligenkreuz has existed without interruption since its founding in 1133.
