Winterberg → Duisburg-Ruhrort
The Ruhr Valley Bike Trail follows the Ruhr River from its source near Winterberg to its confluence with the Rhine near Duisburg. As a river and long-distance bike trail, the route leads from the Sauerland to the Ruhr Metropolis, passing through scenic and cultural areas along the river. Places to stop for refreshments are marked as points of interest along the tour.
