Ljubljana
24 places to stay. A night costs from about 68 €.
The Dragon Bridge is one of the bridges across the Ljubljanica. St Nicholas Cathedral is the cathedral of the archdiocese. The National Gallery shows Slovenian and European painting, the Moderna Galerija 20th-century art and the City Museum the history of the city.
The Metelkova cultural centre grew up in a former barracks. The Path of Remembrance and Comradeship circles the city along the line of the barbed-wire fence that sealed off Ljubljana during the Second World War.
