Dublin
92 places to stay. A night costs from about 89 €.
Kilmainham Gaol was built as a prison in 1796 and is now a museum. In its yard, a memorial commemorates the executed leaders of the 1916 Easter Rising. The Guinness Storehouse tells the story of the brewery. In the Docklands, EPIC, founded in 2016, presents the history of Irish emigration.
The National Gallery of Ireland holds Irish and European art and has been open to the public since 1864. The Chester Beatty Library shows ancient to medieval manuscripts, prints and works of art. St Stephen's Green park lies in the city centre, and the 707-hectare Phoenix Park three kilometres north-west of it.
